New Senate Item Updates
Online Administration of Student Perception of Instruction
Currently, Student Perception of Instruction (SPoI) is administered both online and in paper format. Beginning Fall 2009, all SPoI will be administered online. The content of the SPoI will be identical to that currently in use in the paper format.Proposed Student Perception of Instruction Questions
These questions have been proposed to replace those in the current SPoI. They are proposed to be adopted in 2010-2011 and additional discussion of and vote on the proposed content will occur during the upcoming 2009-2010 Senate year.- Proposed SPoI for Face-to-Face/ITV classes (revised 8/28/2009)
- Proposed SPoI for Web-based classes (revised 8/28/2009)
- Proposed SPoI for Web-mediated classes (revised 8/28/09)
- Proposed Faculty Perception of Instruction form (revised 9/21/09)
The UCF Faculty Senate shall be the basic legislative body of the University.
Within the legal structure of the University of Central Florida and in cognizance of the reality that the University can only function properly when goodwill is nurtured and maintained by the president, administrators, and faculty, this constitution establishes the means for faculty participation in the governance of the University of Central Florida.
